So this is the best Thursday/Friday combo NYC has seen in ages. There’s so much good music coming to NYC right now that we can hardly contain ourselves!! Kick off your weekend early by coming down to Cameo Gallery (behind Lovin’ Cup!) on Thursday for our Crush series! This month features NY’s gods of classic rock remixes, STREETLAB, performing live tracks off their latest full length album!

After years of playing different instruments, Ernesto Pantin aka Pharaoh started producing and DJing at the age of 17 in his home country of Venezuela. He found his true medium in the mixer, and jumped on the express highway of Electronic Dance Music. Not only has he produced and DJed for many Hip Hop acts, such as 3 Dueños, Dj Trece, Budu,etc, but he also was the founding member of Todosantos (Flamin Hotz Records). Since relocating to Brooklyn, Pharaoh has become famous for his Salvation Army parties and collaborations with such artists as Cardopusher, Krames, Ninja Sonik, and Dev79

Sepalcure’s combination of love for bass and 90s house acapellas is the culmination of a cathartic two week collaboration between Machinedrum and Praveen. Their mix of tribal dub, house and two step beats works equally well for both late nights in the club and rainy, introspective nights at home. Detroit techno chords cut through wooden beats, neon synths and dubbed out atmospherics. Future lovestep.
